2) Who can use Gigways?

Any gig driver — rideshare (Uber, Lyft), delivery (DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub), shopping (Instacart), and more.

3) How does the Focus feature work?

Focus lets you pick or join rest days. It shows popular rest times, sends reminders, and supports recovery. 100% optional.

4) What is the Driver Density Forecast?

A map showing real-time and forecasted driver concentrations (by city, ZIP, or 5-mile grids) with Red = high, Green = low.

5) How is driver density calculated?

We combine anonymized, consented activity with time-of-day & population rules. All users see consistent estimates. No personal locations are exposed.

6) Does Gigways help with taxes?

Yes — mileage and expense tracking are built in. Inside the app, we also provide partner tax-filing options to make filing easier.

7) Is my data secure?

Yes. We use encryption, strict security practices, and privacy-by-design. We never sell your personal information.

8) Can I control location and motion tracking?

Yes. These are off by default and only enabled with your consent. You can disable permissions anytime via device or app settings.

10) Which devices are supported?

11) How accurate is mileage tracking?

It’s tuned for reliable capture with low battery drain. Keep permissions granted and exclude Gigways from aggressive battery savers.

Yes. Export mileage and expense reports in the app or request via support@gigways.com.

13) How do I delete my account or data?

Request deletion in the app or by emailing support. We remove identifiable data unless law requires retention (e.g., tax compliance).

14) Will Gigways affect my gig platform accounts?

No. Gigways is independent. Focus and Density are planning tools only and don’t connect to Uber, Lyft, etc.

15) I found a bug — how do I report it?

Email steps, screenshots, and your device model to support@gigways.com. We’ll respond quickly.

16) Can teams or fleets use Gigways?

Yes. Fleet and group tools are planned. Contact us if you want early access.

17) Does Gigways work offline?

Basic tracking continues offline. Data syncs automatically once your phone reconnects to the internet.

18) How does Focus protect my privacy?

Focus only shows aggregated rest trends. We never display an individual driver’s choices or personal details.

19) How often is the Driver Density Forecast updated?

Current activity updates frequently, and forecasts project 15-, 30-, and 60-minute windows ahead.

21) What are Gigways Rooftop Car Ads?

Gigways Rooftop Ads let drivers place branded decals or rooftop toppers on their cars. Drivers earn extra while brands get on-road visibility.

22) How much can drivers earn from car ads?

Earnings vary by campaign and region. Compensation is typically a flat monthly rate or by campaign, designed to be fair after printing/setup costs.

23) Do drivers install the rooftop ads themselves?

Most decals/toppers are simple to install with our instructions. In some locations, pickup or install partners may be available.

24) What affiliate partners does Gigways work with?

Driver-focused partners like tax filing (e.g., FreeTaxUSA), auto parts (e.g., AutoZone, NAPA), insurance (e.g., eHealth), and maintenance shops. Offers appear in-app as partner perks/discounts.

25) How do affiliate offers work inside the app?

Tapping a partner link opens their official site/WebView. If you complete a purchase or service, the partner pays a small commission to Gigways—often with a discount for you.
